Nikki James is a retired Los Angeles County Supervising Deputy Probation Officer, MFT Trainee, mentor, and wellness advocate with more than 24 years of experience supporting justice-involved individuals and families. Her background includes detention services, reentry, child trafficking, trauma-informed care, and organizational leadership. She holds degrees in Psychology, Child Development, and Organizational Leadership. As a member of Leaders of the New Schooled, Nikki focuses on trauma-informed care, wellness, mentorship, reentry support, and positive development for youth, young adults, and families.
